David Tregidgo

Trainee Consultant and Business Analyst

David Tregidgo is a Trainee Consultant and Business Analyst at Fimatix. He is currently working on UX design specialising in accessibility and inclusive web design, as well as on business strategy and company development.

For 3 years David worked for the Diocese of Westminster as an administrator, managing the day-to-day running of a church and other parish buildings. David maintained registers, databases, and websites and ensured GDPR and health and safety compliance. He provided volunteers with the tools and information they needed for their tasks, making sure new volunteers and parishioners felt welcomed and supported. He was often the first point of contact when parishioners were distressed or bereaved.

During the first lockdown David manufactured 500 laser-cut and 3D-printed face shields. These were distributed, free of charge to GP surgeries, Care homes and Pharmacies around West London & in Exeter.

David comes from a design background, having achieved a 1st Class Honours Degree for BSc Product Design at Nottingham Trent University. The degree course included a year in industry. David worked at Booo B.V., a lighting company in Netherlands, going on to become the head of R&D. He participated in management and designer meetings, lead a team of interns, and presented Booo’s range of products at the 2015 Milan Design Week.
