Fimatix is an asset backed consultancy. Our product division is looking to hire a Lead Data Scientist as an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Unstructured Data Product Team. The product uses artificial intelligence techniques to capture data from unstructured documents such as pdf. Our parsing technology provides efficiencies to repetitive tasks which would normally require the time-consuming manual extraction of data.
The Role
As a lead data scientist, you will have deep knowledge and solid experience in building various deep learning models, as well as the ability to lead a small team of data scientists. You will need to design and deliver solutions to unique problems and be ready to keep up to date in such a dynamic domain. You should have Good mathematical skills with problem solving and logical thinking are required for this position. Quick learning, enthusiasm for technology and a proven track record in delivering solutions is also desired.
You will need to be able to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage your time as well as planning the activities and the roadmap design of the machine learning team. We are developing state of the art models in computer vision, NLP and other domains, as well as integrating with new innovative frameworks as needed.
This role is hybrid with the expectations of 2-3 days in the London office.

Desirable Skills
- Experience fine tuning a large language model
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of .NET development using C#
